James Stephens 2-7 Erins Own 0-11
In the first of the two St. Canices Credit Union Senior Hurling Semi-Finals, two goals at either end of the first half by Eoin Larkin and Matthew Ruth, saw James Stephens lead Erins Own 2-2 to 0-3 at the break. On the resumption, in an entertaining and competitive tie, Martin Boran and Michael Murphy points reduced the Village lead to two points 2-3 to 0-7 by the tenth minute. Points by Matthew Ruth, Gary Whelan and Eoin Larkin had James Stephens back 2-6 to 0-7 in front ten minutes later. In the final minutes with the Erins Own side pressing forward they outscored the winners  by three points to two to leave the final score 2-7 to 0-11 and James Stephens qualifying for the County Final in two weeks time.  

Ballyhale shamrocks 4-16 OLoughlin Gaels 2-12

In the second tie Ballyhale Shamrocks took the game to the O'Loughlin Gaels side and led 3-3 to 0-3 after fifteen minutes. An early goal by Patrick Reid, was added to by a brace by TJ Reid and Patrick Reid's second in the fourteenth and fifteenth minute. In the final stages of the half O'Loughlins lifted their game and were in a fine halftime position just four points behind after Peter Dowing goaled. On the resumption Eoin Reid extended the Shamrocks lead with a point before a fine spell by the City side left four points in it - 3-9 to 1-11 with ten minutes to go. In typical Shamrocks style they upped their game and added 1-7 through a series of scorers including Henry Shefflin, Colin Fennelly, TJ Reid, Eoin Reid and Michael Fennelly to O'Loughlin replies in the form of a Martin Comerford point and a second Peter Dowling goal to leave the final score Ballyhale Shamrocks 4-16 to O'Loughlin Gaels 2-12.
