MOTION:
That junior hurling A & B Leagues and Championships be restructured so that they be confined solely
to players who don't play in a higher grade (Carrigeen). The Convention takes place in the
Rising sun Mullinavat on Monday next @ 8p.m

Big changes in South as Dan Kenny is the New Chairman
A smooth change over took place at the top table of the Southern Convention that took place in the Rising Sun in Mullinavat.
Following the retirement of Paddy Gaule who successfully led the Board for the past seven years the position of Chairman
was filled by current P.R.O. Dan Kenny of (Piltown),
With secretary Pat Dunphy (Carrigeen) and Treasurer, Andy Aylward (Mullinavat) retaining their positions
Dave Gallagher (Ballyhale Shamrocks) filled the vacant  P.R.O.
position and was joined by fellow club man Jim Kearns
Southern Board Draws
The draws for the Southern Board Junior, Junior A and Junior B leagues and championships
and Under 21 championships will take place in Mullinavat GAA clubhouse on Thursday 14th February @ 8pm.
Southern Board Information Night 
The Southern Board is holding a training night for PROs in Piltown Sports Complex on Tuesday 19th February.
The night will also cover membership and how to submit names on line for the coming year.
There will also be a session on setting up your own clubs website
Mooncoin field four adult teams as Southern Board make Draws for 2008
As Mooncoin headed the list Carrickshock and Mullinavat joined the Rower Inistioge in entering
three adult teams in the Adult Championships as the draws for the Iverk Produce Junior, Junior, Junior A
and Junior B Leagues and Championships and the Michael Lyng Under 21 A and B Southern Championships
took place in Mullinavat GAA Centre on Thursday evening.
The draw was also made for the Kilkenny teams participating in the 2008 JJ Kavanagh All County Junior Hurling League.
The Carlow Clubs will be drawn into the four Groups when the Officers of the Northern and Southern Boards meet the
Carlow Clubs in the coming days.
