The Kilkenny team shows three changes in personnel from the side which defeated Offaly last Sunday. While the goalkeeper and six backs remain unchanged John Tennyson comes into midfield and John Mulhall and Eoin Larkin will start in the forwards. John Tennyson and Eoin Larkin, (who has made a quicker recovery from injury than expected), make their first appearances of the year while John Mulhall, who featured as a substitute against Offaly, will start against Tipperary. Noel Hickey and Derek Lyng make a welcome appearance among the substitutes following their injuries. Martin Comerford is on honeymoon. Richie Power continues to recover from the knock he received last weekend. |

A Training Course on the Club Registration System for Club Secretaries and Registrars will take place in the Teacher Education Centre on the Callan Road Kilkenny on Monday 15th of March at 7.30pm.
