Nowlan Park will host a Football double header this Saturday with Kilkenny taking on London at 6pm in Round 2 of the British Junior Championship.
The game will be preceded by the Bord na nÓg Duggan Steel Under 13 Roinn A Football Final between Dicksboro and James Stephens at 4pm.

The annual Kilkenny Senior Hurlers Race and Family Fun Day will take place on Monday June 3rd at Gowran Racecourse. There will be seven top class races on the day, with a best dressed competiton for both ladies and gents. There will also be a BBQ and garden party with lots of family fun activities such as Boucy castles and Bungee Runs.
Gates open at 12pm, first race at 2pm. There will be free buses from Kilkenny Castle form 12pm. Admission will be €15 but there is a 33% discount if pre-purchased on Gowranpark.ie. Concession tickets are also available through local clubs. U-16's are free.

The St Canice's Credit Union Senior Hurling league, the Michael Lyng Motors Hurling league and the JJ Kavanagh & Sons Hurling league make a welcome return for the third round of 2019. Most Senior and Intermediate games will be played on Tuesday and Wednesday night next. The one exception was the Fenians Vs Carrickchock game which was played on Saturday evening with the Fenians claiming the two points on offer.
Kilkenny have claimed a second victory in this years Leinster Championship with a 1-14 to 3-22 win over Carlow in Netwatch Cullen Park on Sunday. Kilkenny took the lead early on and lead from start to finish. A flurry of Carlow scores in the third quarter wasn't enough and Kilkenny retained their composure to run out winners. The win puts Kilkenny on four points after two games. Next up will be Galway in Nowlan Park on June 9th, followed by Wexford away in Wexford Park on July 15th.
