One of the great traditions asociated with All Ireland wins is the visit of the players with the Liam Mc Carthy Cup to our Ladys Children's Hospital in Crumlin on the morning after the All Ireland. This year was no exception and captain Joey Holden, Manager Brian Cody and several players were very pleased to carry on the tradition. Martin Rowe was on hand to capture some very special moments.

Kilkenny have been crowned All Ireland Champions for the 36th time when they saw off the challenge of Galway in Croke Park on Sunday. Kilkenny were three points in arrears at the break but a powerful second half display saw them retain the Mc Carthy Cup on a 1-22 to 1-18 final scoreline.

Kilkenny GAA are pleased to recommend your attendance at Matt the Millers on Tuesday night for a very special All Ireland Preview. The panel will consist of J J Delaney, Diarmuid O Sullivan and Brendan Cummins. The show kicks off at 9.30 and will be followed by Music from The Kilkennys.
Admission will be €5 with all proceeds going to the Kilkenny Senior Hurlers Training and Holiday fund.
