Kilkenny have claimed all two points from their Allianz NHL opener against Dublin in UPMC Nowlan Park on Sunday. Brian Cody's men started well and despite being reduced to 14 men in the first half, two first half goals ensured a solid half-time lead 2-10 to 0-10. The second half continued in the same vein with Kilkenny grabbing a third goal on 59 minutes. The game ended 3-21 to 0-18, with Kilkenny on the road to Carlow next weekend for round 2.

Kilkenny welcome four counties to Nowlan Park on Sunday next with the venue hosting the Allianz League Semi-Finals double header with Dublin taking on Limerick in the opener at 1.30pm, while Galway and Waterford will battle it out in the second game of the day at 3.30pm. Each team will be battling for a coveted spot in the Allianz NHL Final the following weekend.
Tickets for the game are available at usual Centra and Supervalu outlets and online here. Pre-purchase tickets are €20.00. At the ground on the day; Adults €25, Students/Senior Citizens €20 and Juvenile's €5.
Please note ALL Season ticket holders will be accomadated in Ardán de Grás for this fixture. There is limited availability in Ardán de Grás for this reason. Supporters are urged to purchase tickets for this stand as early as possible. Kilkenny season ticket holders may also use their season tickets to gain admission on the day.

Kilkenny welcome their All Ireland Final opponents Galway to Nowlan Park next Sunday for Round 3 of the Allianz Hurling League. Both sides have one win under their belts so victory for either side next Sunday would go a long way to qualification for the League Quarter-Finals.
Construction work continues in Nowlan Park. All three covered stands will be open but the Terrace remains closed. Season Ticket stiles will again be Nos 9 to 12 on Hebron Road with access to Ardan de Gras only. Supporters are again encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to avail of €5 discount on adult prices and to avoid queues on Sunday.
Throw In is at 2pm and the game is not being televised live.
The Kilkenny team to play Tipperary in Round 2 of the Allianz League shows four changes from the side that started in Walsh Park last weekend. Robert Lennon comes in at centre back replacing Kieran Joyce. At midfield Lester Ryan starts in place of Cillian Buckley and up front James Maher and Kevin Kelly are all handed starts with Jonjo Farrell and Mark Kelly moving to the bench. Supporters are again reminded that the Terrace will be closed on Sunday and there will be no facility to transfer from one side of ground to the other. There will be no cash taken at the stiles with tickets on sale at five locations around the ground. Supporters are encouraged to purchase tickets before Saturday night to avail of €5 discount on adult tickets. Season ticket holders will be admitted to Ardan de Gras (Paddy Grace Stand) via Stiles 9 - 12 on Hebron Road. All three covered stands will be open on Sunday.
Kilkenny started the 2012 Allianz Hurling League with an eight-point victory over rivals Tipperary at Nowlan Park. Kilkenny began with twelve of last year’s All Ireland winning team while Tipperary began with nine finalists from last September.................
