Graignamanagh win U-13 'C' Title

Saturday, 08 September 2018 at 7PM

Graignamanagh won the U-13 roinn 'C' league after a titanic struggle against St Patrick's, Ballyragget.   It took extra time in the replay to separate these two very evenly matched teams.   Graignamanagh looked likely to run out winners in normal time when they ran up a four point lead with 3 mins left but the northeners finished strongly and a late goal and point ensured the game went to extra time.   A goal by Graignamanagh sub Mike Hoban in the first half proved to to be the crucial score of the extra time as the Barrowsiders ran out winners after a thriller on a scoreline of Graignamanagh 1-17 to St Patricks 3-9.
