Following their recent win in the League competition Graignamanagh added the Duggan Steel Roinn B Championship title when they had a merited win over Tullogher Rosbercon in a thrilling final. Graignamanagh played with a strong breeze in the first half and were leading by a scoreline of 1-9 2-1 at halftime. Tullogher came out after the halftime break the much better team and 2 quick goals appeared to have them in the driving seat as they built up a 3 point lead ,but the barrow boys never gave up and two late goals and 3 points gave them a comfortable and just about deserving win on a lovely evening for the big ball in Inistioge. Final Score Graignamanagh 4-12 Tullogher Rosbercon 4-4

For the third time in 4 years Dicksboro and Thomastown contested the Duggan Steel Roinn A Under 14 Football Final and as in the previous contests the city side came out victorious. However the gap between the sides is closing and no doubt Thomastown can look forward to the future with great anticipation. Graignamanagh 6-10 Bennettsbridge 2-8
Two well matched teams played the Duggan Steel u14 B League Final on a lovely evening with little or no breeze in Dr Tierney Park recently. 3 early goals from the home side proved to be deciding factor, and despite the best efforts of the boys from the Bridge these early goals proved to be too much of a hurdle to overcome. Both teams played the game in an excellent and sportsman like manner, and team mentors are to be congratulated for this.
