Graignamanagh 6-10 Bennettsbridge 2-8
Two well matched teams played the Duggan Steel u14 B League Final on a lovely evening with little or no breeze in Dr Tierney Park recently. 3 early goals from the home side proved to be deciding factor, and despite the best efforts of the boys from the Bridge these early goals proved to be too much of a hurdle to overcome. Both teams played the game in an excellent and sportsman like manner, and team mentors are to be congratulated for this.

The Paddy Grace Féile Competition concluded this weekend with honours going to Dicksboro in Roinn A, Galmoy/Windgap in Roinn B and Conahy Shamrocks in Roinn C. The competition certainly whetted the appetite for the National Feile which will be hosted jointly by Kilkenny, Carlow and Wexford in June.

In ideal conditions in Nowlan Park on Saturday Ballyhale and Erins Own were crowned Minor Champions in the Kilkenny Honda Centre Minor Championships. In the "A" decider Ballyhale and James Stephens played out a thriller in a game that ebbed and flowed. James Stephens looked to have the game in the bag but a Ballyhale goal in injury time swung the game Ballyhale's way. The Village threw the proverbial kitchen sink at them in the remaining minutes but the Balyhale defence held firm. Click HERE for match report from John Knox of Kilkenny People.
In the "B" decider Erins Own were worthy winners over Clara. A Sean Buggy goal two minutes from time proved decisive here. Click HERE for match report from John Knox of Kilkenny People. Click HERE for images of both games from Donal Foley. Click on Read More for team pics.
