A meeting has been arranged for Nowlan Park on Wednesday night next 14th Sept at 7.30 to discuss Feile 2017 . Kilkenny, in conjunction with Carlow and Wexford, will host the National Féile in 2017. It is very important that all clubs are represented at the meeting as it will be outlined to them what is expected to make the event a success. At a minimum each Bord na nÓg secretary should be in attendance but we encourage other officers to be present also. County chairman Ned Quinn will attend.
The ever popular Paddy Grace Under 14 Féile competitions were held over the weekend. Dicksboro emerged victorious in Roinn A when they accounted for James Stephens in the Final. In Roinn B Piltown were the victors over St Martins.

Last Sunday it was the turn of our minor stars to light up Nowlan Park. In the B decider John Lockes proved too strong for a young Dunnamaggin team while in a thrilling A decider Dicksboro finished that bit stronger to run out 2 point winners over a game O'Loughlin Gaels side.

This Sunday it is the turn of our minor players as the Kilkenny Honda Centre Roinn A and B County Finals are played in Nowlan Park. First up will be the B Final between neighbours Dunnamaggin and John Lockes at 1pm followed by the meeting of city rivals Dicksboro and O'Loughlin Gaels at 2.45pm in the A decider.
With an excellent weather forecast and admission only €5 this should be a great way to spend a few hours this Sunday. Both stands, Ardan de Gras and Ardan Breathnach, will be open.
Today we send our congratulations to the Naas under 16's who won the Duggan Steel Under 16A Hurling Shield Final with a comprehensive victory over Ballyhale Shamrocks on Saturday.
