Message from Lar Mc Evoy - U14 Co-Ordinator

"Well done to all who participated in the final activity of the year last Saturday in Newbridge. It is to be hoped that those games will whet the appetite for all players to gain further benefit from the squads system over the coming years. Many thanks to the mentors who lent a hand on the day and also to the parents who fell in to assist them. Also commendations to the officers of the County Bord na nOg who were so accomodating of this extra curricular venture".

Development Squad News - Under 14's

Please note that the bus leaves Springhill Hotel on Sat.15th October at 9.15 for under 14 games v. Kildare. All players to wear Kilkenny tops and also to bring Black and Amber socks and togs. Also note that any club activity takes precedence over squads.

The matches will be played in the Kildare Centre of Excellence pitches in Hawkfield, Newbridge at 11 15. Many thanks to those who took the trouble to respond with explanations of absence.

We would appreciate if any players who cannot make the trip would let Lar McEvoy know at 086 8100558 as we need to know numbers for meals etc.

Great credit to all who attended training session in Dunmore on Saturday despite such inclement weather, and to those who took the trouble to contact mentors with explanations for inability to participate.

Please note though that because we are conscious that some clubs have not finished their championship programs we are postponing our trip until Sat. 15th Oct. to allow as many players as possible to join us for our final outing.

Keep an eye on the website for travel arrangements and any other details.

Once again, well done to everyone for creating such a positive atmosphere at the end of a long season.
