Statement From Kilkenny County Board
Kilkenny Senior Hurling Manager Brian Cody underwent pre-planned cardiac surgery today and is currently recovering in hospital. He is in good form but has to take a break from team affairs for a number of weeks. In his absence Martin Fogarty and Michael Dempsey will be taking charge of the Senior Hurling Panel. The Co. Board asks that Brian and his family be afforded privacy for the duration of his recovery and will not be issuing any further statements

Training & Holiday Fund Draw Results
Kilkenny GAA Supporters Club and Kilkenny County Board congragulate the prizewinners and sincerely thank all Kilkenny supporters who showed their appreciation of our wonderful senior hurlers' success in Croke Park by supporting the most succesfull Training & Holiday Fund Draw. First prize in the Draw of €5,000 was won by Tim Dermody, C/O Gerry Murphy, Blacks & Whites G.A.A. Club. whlst flat screen televisions for second and third place went to Patrick Mullins, Friary St., Kilkenny and Ber O'Brien, 16 Hilltown Lawn, Swords, Co. Dublin. The Draw took place on County Senior Hurling Final Day at Nowlan Park.
