Kilkenny 1-26 Galway 0-22
An impressive second half display in Croke Park on Sunday saw Kilkenny qualify for the All Ireland Semi-Final when they accounted for Galway by a margin of 7 points. In a game remarkably similar to last year's All Ireland Final Kilkenny were three points adrift at the break. The introduction of subs Richie Hogan and John Power had an immediate impact and Kilkenny ran out impressive winners in the end. Kilkenny play their semi-final on Sunday 7th August
