Following Wexford's win over Laois in the Leinster Quarter-Final on Sunday the scene is now set for the Semi-Final in Innovate Wexford Park on Saturday 10th June.

Kilkenny 1-26 Galway 0-22
An impressive second half display in Croke Park on Sunday saw Kilkenny qualify for the All Ireland Semi-Final when they accounted for Galway by a margin of 7 points. In a game remarkably similar to last year's All Ireland Final Kilkenny were three points adrift at the break. The introduction of subs Richie Hogan and John Power had an immediate impact and Kilkenny ran out impressive winners in the end. Kilkenny play their semi-final on Sunday 7th August

Brian Cody and his selectors have named an unchanged team, from that which started in the semi-final win over Dublin, for next Sunday's Leinster Final against Galway. Richie Hogan, who was unavailable the last day, is listed among the substitutes. There are a number of positional changes, notably Michael Fennelly's return to his customary mid-field spot with Lester Ryan wearing the No 12 shirt.

One of the most pleasing aspects of Kilkenny's last outing versus Dublin in Portlaoise was the large and enthusiastic following of Kilkenny supporters. And it is anticipated that a large following will make its way to Croke Park on Sunday for the Final versus Galway at 4pm. Tickets are still availabale at the usual Supermarket outlets and with children's tickets priced at just €5 it is an ideal opportunity to treat the family to the great match day experience which is Croke Park on Leinster Final day. Throw in is at 4pm. The Kilkenny team will be announced as usual on Friday evening after training. The game will be live on RTE Television and also on KCLR 96FM.

The Leinster Senior Hurling Final between Kilkenny and Galway takes place in Croke Park onext Sunday 3rd July at 4pm. It will be preceded by Minor Final between Dublin and Wexford.
There will be a PUBLIC SALE of tickets in Nowlan Park on Wenesday night next 29th June between 7pm and 8pm.
Due to repair work on the Nowlan Park pitch, following the Rod Stewart Concert, the planned open training session on Wednesday evening is now cancelled.
