O'Loughlin Gaels Win Minor A Football Title

O'Loughlin Gaels completed the clean sweep of under age titles when they added the Kilkenny Citroen Minor A Football championship to the titles won in 2014. Picture shows Bord na nOg Chairman Willie Dempsey presenting the trophy to O'Loughlin Gaels captain Eoin Croghan.

Kilkenny Take on Offaly in Electric Ireland Minor Football Championship

Whilst the main focus of Kilkenny followers will be on the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick on Sunday, the Kilkenny Minor Footballers will take on Offaly in the Electric Ireland Leinster GAA Minor Football Championship in Urlingford on Saturday with a 3pm throw in. Click on Read More below for panel.

Kilkenny Minor Football

Kilkenny take on Offaly in the Leinster Minor Football Championship on Saturday next April 19th. In preparation for the game training will continue in St James Park on Wednesday evening at 6.30pm. club secretaries are asked to ensure that all players are in attendance.

Kilkenny Citroen Minor Football Finals

Saturday, 28 December 2013 at 6PM

Six country clubs competed in the 2013 Kilkenny Citroen Centre Minor Football Finals in bright weather conditions on Saturday. Pride of place goes to the Rower Inistioge Minors who added the Roinn A Football title to the Hurling one earned in October. The Rower had a comprehensive 2-11 to 1-1 win over Glenmore in the decider played in Thomastown. In the B Final Tullogher Rosbercon had another big win over St Martins 3-10 to 1-6 in Bennettsbridge. Meanwhile in Tullaroan the home side  defeated Kilmoganny 3-9 to 2-6 in the C decider. Full credit to all six clubs and the host clubs for providing excellent entertainment over the holiday season.
