Following Ballyhale Shamrocks victory in the J J Kavanagh and Sons South Under 21A final on Sunday the way is now clear for the 2017 County Final. Ballyhale will meet Northern winners James Stephens in the Under 21 A Final in Nowlan Park on Sunday next Dec 10th, at 1.30pm

Meanwhile in the B Championship Galmoy/Windgap have qualified for the County Final following their win in the South Final over Piltown. They will meet the winners of the Northern Final between Clara and St Martins who meet in Freshford next Sunday at 12 Noon.
The GAA and Camogie Asociation has come up with a very novel offer to help fans support both the Under 21's in their All Ireland Final against Limerick and the Camogie Seniors in their Final against Cork. A dual ticket costing just €35 is available to cover the Semple Stadium game on Sat 9th and the Croke Park Final on the following day Sept 10th.
And to help fans Kilkenny GAA will have a public sale on Wednesday 6th Sept from 10am to 2pm in Nowlan Park.
Both games are unreserved - "First Come First Served". Tickets are available now on line or at the usual Supermarket outlets.

The Kilkenny under 21 Team to play Derry in the BGE All Ireland Semi-Final in Semple Stadium on Saturday has been named. The game throws in at 4pm and will be followed by the second semi-final between Galway and Limerick at 6pm. Both games will be televised live by TG4 with Radio commentary on the Kilkenny game provided by KCLR 96FM. We will also have score updates on our Twitter feed @KilkennyCLG.
Admission to the Double Header will be - Adults €15; Students/Pensioners €10; únder 16's €5. Seating is Unreserved - "First Come First Served"

Rower Inistioge and Tullaroan landed the last major trophies of 2016 when they had wins in the J J Kavanagh and Sons Under 21 A and B Finals respectively. A goal in the final minute of normal time by Cathal Bolger snatched victory from the Boro in a pulsating A Final in Nowlan Park. Meanwhile in Callan Tullaroan built up a huge first half lead in the B Final but in the end were hanging on for a 2 point victory over Dunnamaggin.

Following the very heavy rain in Kilkenny this week it has been decided that the J J Kavanagh and Sons "B" under 21 Final between Dunnamaggin and Tullaroan, which had been scheduled as part of a double header in Nowlan Park, will now go ahead as a stand alone fixture in John Locke Park this Sunday Dec 11th at 2pm. The "A" Final between Dicksboro and The Rower inistioge goes ahead at Nowlan Park at the earlier time of 12 noon. Admission on Sunday will be to Ardan Breathnach only via stiles 33 to 36 on O'Loughlin Road
