Kilkenny Teams progress in Leinster Club Hurling Championships in Portlaoise

In Portlaoise on Sunday wind assisted Junior Champions John Lockes up the ante in the second half to record a 0-12 to 0-6 victory over Ballyfinn after the sides were tied 0-4 at the break. In the senior tie a first minute goal gave the newly crowned O’Loughlin Gaels the ideal start. After they added their third against the breeze early in the second the game went outside the ever challenging Rathdowney Erril side as the City ran out 3-16 to 0-14 winners.
