Following weeks of waiting owing to the poor weather conditions and the Christmas break John Lockes captured the Leinster Junior Hurling Crown in Rath when they held Drumcullen scoreless from play whilst recording a 2-14 to 0-4 win. Afterwards Leinster Vice Chairman Martin Skelly presented the Provincial Cup to John Lockes team captain Robert Jackman
