The Sheep Shearing and Wool Festival which will be one of the biggest family-focused festivals of the Summer, incorporating the ‘CLiK Pour On All Ireland & International Sheep Shearing and Wool Handling Championships 2011’, children’s entertainment, craft and food displays and much, much more.
We’re delighted to host Ireland’s biggest sheep, wool and cultural festival on June 4th & 5th at the purpose-built Cillín Hill exhibition centre on the edge of Kilkenny city and want you and your family to come along, enjoy a weekend in Kilkenny and join in the fun.
See expert competitors from across Europe, Australia and New Zealand shear up to 2,000 sheep over the two day event. There are also wool handling competitions and sheep society events plus demonstrations, making it one of Ireland’s biggest ever sheep festivals.
