U-10 Go Games 2011 Guidelines
(1) Hosts Clubs are asked to contact opposition mentors (Club Contacts emailed to all clubs last week) in the week leading up to the game to ensure adequate number of pitches (2 or 3) are prepared in advance to ensure all players are playing or at least on a rotational basis.
(2) Host Club to arrange Minor Players to referee the games.
(3) First Half – Rise and Strike only (Goalkeeper plays normal rules) Second Half – Ordinary Rules.
(4) Nearest Player to sideline takes the sideline.
(5) 20 Minutes a half.
(6) Player who is fouled takes the free.
(7) Players and mentors are asked to shake Hands before and after the games – As part of the Respect Initiative.
(8) If games can not be played as per fixture. Contact other team mentor and game must be played before the next Round.
(9) Games to be small-sided 11 /10 /9 A- side NOT 15 A-side.
Best of luck for the coming season.
(5) Let the children enjoy representing their Club and Parish
