Local Action Resumes at Weekend

Attention returns to the local league/championships at the weekend when action resumes in the St. Canice’s Credit Union Senior hurling League, the Michael Lyng Motors Intermediate Hurling League and the J.J. Kavanagh & Sons Junior Hurling League at the weekend. The action kicks off on Friday night in all three competitions and continues on Saturday and Sunday. Matters are getting serious as this is the penultimate ropund of league games and teams are running out of opportunities to secure the all important points to secure top places or even more importantly avoid the relegation shake up.
