Thomastown 3-17 Glenmore 2-10
Thomastown captured the inaugural U-21 Hurling Shield with a magnificent display of grit, determination and great skill which saw them dominate a fancied Glenmore side from the throw in to the final whistle.Leading at half-time 2-12 to 1-3 they resisted the best efforts of an improved Glenmore side to get back into the game in the second half to run out easy winners in an entertaining display of high class hurling helped by relatively very good conditions in Carrigeen last Saturday.Thomastown Under-21 Inaugural A Shield Hurling Winners
