The 2012 St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Kilkenny was an especially memorable one for the local GAA community
as led by Grand Marshall Brian Hogan carrying the Mc Carthy Cup followed by the kilkenny Senior hurling panel
and then representatives of almost all of its hurling, camogie and handball clubs it celebrated its theme of ‘A Celebration of Kilkenny’s Gaelic Games, Heritage Spirit’. Great credit is due to all of the clubs who turned out with their banners and the three City Clubs, St. Patrick’s Ballyragget and Danesfort whose floats added greatly to the spectacle.
