Kilkenny’s Richie Hogan suffered a collapsed lung following an accidental second half collision with Galway goalkeeper, Jamie Ryan, in yesterday’s Allianz Hurling game in Nowlan Park. The injury was confirmed by Kilkenny County Board Secretary Ned Quinn and it is expected that the 2011 All Star corner forward will be out of action for at least four weeks meaning he will miss Kilkenny’s semi-final game against Clare or Limerick.
