Iverk Produce South Junior A Hurling League Final (extra time if necessary)
Ballyhale is the venue ,Friday 1st June at 7.30, for what promises to be a very exciting contest between Ballinkillen, Carlow, and Mullinavat as the the Carlow men seek to be become the first side from their county to win the Iverk Produce South Junior A Huring League title with the men from South Kilkenny determined to reclaim the title they last won in 2010. Both sides were extremely impressive in the semi-finals. Ballinkillen overcame The Rower Inistioge in a great game in Graignamanagh; scores were level at the final whistle after the Carlow side made a late surge to catch the Noresiders before easing to a 5 point victory in extra time. Mullinavat had a very good semi-final win over Ballyhale Shamrocks; their ability to get scores, particularly goals at vital times, kept a very determined Ballyhale side at bay for most of the game after establishing an early commanding lead. Mullinavat had two goals to spare over Ballinkillen in the league section but on the semi-final form of both teams it is difficult to pick a winner.
