1800 participants amongst 450 teams have participated at 48 venues across the county in a most sucessful Drive for Liam Quiz broadcast live on KCLR.
The event went to a tie break between a team in James Stephens Cub House and a team in the Salmon Pool in Thomastown with the Village side winning out in a tense tie-breaker. The sides were in the City Mark Dowling, Tom O’Shea, Gerald O’Reilly, Gerry Kirby, whilst the Noreside team consisted of Ger. Tom, Martin and Tom Walsh. Third place went to the Rower Inistioge team of Conor Lyng, Edel and Eileen Rowesome and Michael Cashin.
The holiday prize to Lanzarotte went to Amy O’Donnell in Campions Bar in Threecastles.
