There is excellent entertainment in prospect at Nowlan Park on Bank Holiday Monday as Kilkenny, desperately in need of league points, meet undefeated Waterford in Round 3 of the Allianz Hurling League. Waterford had a very impressive win over Clare in the first round and then in Round 2 deservedly shared the points with a Cork side who had demolished Tipperary in their first outing. Kilkenny, in the meantime, came up just short in their two outings away to stiff opposition in Galway and Tipperary. Throw In on Monday is 2pm.The Kilkenny team will be published on this site after 9pm tomorrow night Friday.
Stiles will open at 1pm for the 2pm throw in. Admission is €13 for Adults; €5 for Senior Citizens and Students; Under 16’s are free. Season Ticket Stiles will be located on both sides of Nowlan Park – Stiles 17 and 18 on Hebron Road (New Stand) and Stiles 36 & 37 on O’Loughlin Road (Old Stand) near Mc Guinness’s.
Full price tickets may be purchased in advance from Supervalu Loughboy, Ballyraggett and Thomastown and Centra Ardnore and Mooncoin. As there is only one game on Monday patrons are advised to arrive in good time so that everybody can be admitted to the Ground in good time. There will be more than 20 stiles open to accomodate the expected big crowd.
