Allianz League Final in Nowlan Park

Kilkenny GAA would like to say a sincere thank you to all our supporters for making Sunday’s Allianz League Final In Nowlan Park such a unique occasion. Fans were asked to help us by purchasing tickets in advance and also by arriving early to the Ground on Match Day. We had record presales of over 17,000 tickets and there were 15,000 in the Ground 1 hour before throw in. To all our stewards – over 200 of them- from every club in the County thank you for your support. To our friends in the Gardai, Local Authorities and Order of Malta we are indeed very indebted. The local and national media – over 100 on duty at the game – thanks for telling the story so eloquently in words and images.
