Local Club League/Championship Takes a Break

With Kilkenny’s opening match in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship now only 18 days away, the action in the local club championship has been put to bed for the moment and will resume in July. The third round was completed last evening when Graigue Ballycallan secured a much needed win over St Martins. In the Senior Championship James Stephens are the only unbeaten team and are three points ahead of nearest rivals in Group A. Group B is now very tight following Clara’s win over Ballyhale last Friday night. Ballyhale, O’Loughlins, Clara and Danesfort are all on 4 points. Group A in the Intermediate League is also a tight affair with Thomastown, Dunnamaggin and St Patricks all on 4 points. All the other teams in Group are only 2 behind. In Group B, Rower Inistioge are powering ahead with 6 points followed by St Lactains and Emeralds on 4. Full League Tables can be viewed by on Results Page by clicking on relevant competition.
