Beaten Provincial Finalists – Galway and Cork – cannot have a repeat of Provincial Finals in All Ireland Semi-Finals. If both Galway and Cork win the Semi-Final Line-up would be: Dublin v Cork and Limerick v Galway. If Galway won and Kilkenny won – Limerick v Galway and Kilkenny v Dublin. If Cork won and Clare won – Cork v Dublin and Clare v Limerick. Croke Park also advise that they will try to avoid repeat pairings so in the event of Kilkenny and Clare both winning Kilkenny would play Limerick and Clare would play Dublin.
