Senior and Intermediate Championship This Coming Saturday

At Monday evening’s County Board Meeting fixture details for the first round of the St Canices Credit Union Senior Hurling Championship and the Michael Lyng Motors Intermediate Championship were finalised. All games are being played on Saturday to allow all Kilkenny supporters to attend the Liberty Insurance All Ireland Senior Camogie Final in Croke Park on sunday v Galway. At the meeting County Board Chairman Ned Quinn wished the Camogie Team the very best in the Final and asked all the Clubs to travel in support of the Girls. The Draw for the J J Kavanagh & Sons Junior Championship Quarter Finals was also made: Blacks & Whites v Barrow Rangers; Galmoy v Bennettsbridge; Lisdowney v Windgap; James Stephens v St Martins.
