Huge Weekend of GAA Activity Coming Up

With the Senior Hurling team safely through to the Allianz League Final on May 4th this coming weekend will see a host of activity on the local playing fields in Kilkenny. Up first will be the Minors first outing in the Electric Ireland Leinster championship when they take on Dublin in Nowlan Park at 3pm. The two J J Kavanagh & Son Senior Football Semi-Finals are also down for decision. Mooncoin take on champions Muckalee in Ballyhale on Saturday evening at 6.30pm whilst on Sunday at 2pm in Palmerstown Railyard will play Kilmoganny. Then on Sunday the Kilkenny Under 14 Féile Competition takes place. The Paddy Grace Tier A competition takes place in St John’s Park, Thomastown, Bennettsbridge and Hugginstown with the first game in each venue at 2.30. The Tier B groups will be played on Sunday morning in Canon Kearns Park and Ballyhale with the first game in each venue at 10am. The Semi-Finals and Finals are scheduled for Monday 5th May.
