Kilkenny GAA Health & Wellbeing Programme Launch

The Launch of the Kilkenny GAA Health and Wellbeing programme dealing with “Suicide and Depression Awareness in your Club” will take place on Monday evening next 28th April in the Springhill Hotel at 8.30pm

This important event is the first in a series of presentations under the rollout of the GAA’s National Health and Wellbeing Programme. 

Its Aim is to Promote Positive Health and Wellbeing in our Clubs and Communities by Providing Advice and Support to the Officers in Every Club in this crucial area over the next twelve months. This invitation is being extended to the Club Chairpersons and Secretaries of the Adult and Juvenile section of each club along with the Clubs Designated Officer. It is also extended to the County Board and Club Officers of the Camogie, Handball and Ladies Football organisations
 The Agenda on the night is as follows 1. Ned Quinn, welcome address 2. John Lacey – An overview of the Health and WellbeingInitiative – An outline of how Kilkenny GAA is supporting Depression and Suicide Awareness. 3. Caroline Clifford – Recognising Depression and Promoting Positive Mental Health in your Club 4. Fr. Paschal Moore – Suicide Awareness at Club level: Enabling clubs to talk about suicide. 5. Question and Answers session with the Kilkenny GAA Health and Wellbeing Committee of……….
