Feast of Club Action This Weekend

St Canices Credit Union Senior Hurling Group A

Ballyhale on 4 points take on St Martins on 2 points in Bennettsbridge on Friday evening. St Martins cannot afford another slip here but taking points from a Ballyhale side with on fire T J Reid, Colin Fennelly and henry Shefflin will not be easy. Clara on 2 points and pointless Tullaroan will be in action in James Stephens new ground on the Kells Road on Saturday evening. Tullaroan have been unlucky not to pick up some points in the campaign to date but badly need a win here to get their challenge back on track. in the final game 100% O’Loughlin Gales take on Carickshock(4 points) in Ballhale on Sunday. The big question here is how Carrickshock will fare without the services of county stars Michael Rice and Richie Power. Click HERE for League Table and Fixture details.

St Canices Credit Union Senior Hurling Group B

First up in this group will be the James Stephens(4 points) versus pointless Fenians in Canon Kearns Park on Friday evening. Like Tullaroan in Group A Fenians have been somewhat unlucky not to pick up some points in their first three games. Top of the table Rower Inistioge take on Erins Own(2 points) in Clara on Saturday at 4.30 in what could be the game of the round, In the final game Danesfort(2 points) take on Dicksboro(4 points) in St Johns Park at 7.30pm on Saturday. Michael Lyng Motors Intermediate Group A

This group is wide open with 4 teams on 4 points and the clash of bottom two Glenmore(2 points) and Tullogher Rosbercon(0) in Mullinavat on Thursday evening taking on special significance. Also on Thursday Thomastown take on Conahy Shamrocks in Callan with the winners putting themselves in a very strong position going into final round. Likewise in the remaining game in Muckalee on Sunday there is a great incentive for the winner between St Patricks and Young Irelands. Click HERE for League Table and Fixture details.

Michael Lyng Motors Intermediate Group B

The tie dominating this round in Windgap on Friday night is that between former county senior champions Graigue Ballycallan(1 point) and Dunnamaggin(0 points). Neither team can afford to lose this one and this should ensure a big turn out at the pitcuresque Windgap venue. 2nd place Lisdowney(4) take on 4th place St Lachtains(3) in Ballyragget on Saturday at 7.30 with the winner puttinmg themselves in a strong position with one round remaining. In the final game unbeaten Mullinavat(6) take on third place Emerlads(4) in Tom Ryall Park at 2pm on Sunday. Click HERE for League Table and Fixture details
