PUBLIC NOTICE
HOMECOMING OF KILKENNY MINOR AND SENIOR HURLING TEAMS AND KILKENNY INTERMEDIATE AND SENIOR CAMOGIE TEAMS
SUNDAY, 28TH SEPTEMBER, 2014
The Homecoming for the Kilkenny Senior and Minor Hurling Teams, together with the Kilkenny Intermediate and Senior Camogie Teams will take place on Sunday, 28th September in Nowlan Park, Kilkenny. Kilkenny County Council would like to invite you to attend the Homecoming where you can enjoy music and entertainment from 2.00 p.m.
The Kilkenny Senior Hurling Team will arrive in Kilkenny at approximately 4.45 p.m.
The Kilkenny Intermediate and Senior Camogie Teams will be introduced on stage at 4.10 p.m., followed by the Kilkenny Minor Hurling Team at 4.30 p.m.
It is anticipated that the Senior Hurling team will arrive on stage at approximately 4.45 p.m. Entertainment will include a replay of selected sections of the matches on large screens together with live music. The proceedings will close before 6.00 p.m.
Kilkenny County Council, Kilkenny G.A.A. and An Garda Síochána would request those attending the event to arrive early and comply with the directions of the Stewards.
Members of the public are advised of the following special parking arrangements in Kilkenny for Sunday for the purposes of the Homecoming Event:
- Rate of €1.00 from 3.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. in Ormonde Street Multi Storey Carpark
- €2.00 for 3 hours in MacDonagh Junction Carpark.
- Free in Market Yard Car Park from 3.00 p.m. onwards.
