Great Weekend of Club Action in Prospect.

This coming weekend sees the return to club action for our All Ireland winning players when the first round of the Senior Hurling Championship and the Quarter-Finals of the Intermediate Championship takes place. We also have the League and Shield Finals taking place in a double header in Thomastown on Saturday. Ballyhale and Dicksboro are in action in the Shield Final at 2pm followed by O’Loughlin Gaels and Rower Inistioge at 4pm. Also at 4pm Carrickshock play Erins Own in Tom Ryall Park. On Sunday at 2pm St Martins and Fenians are in action in Freshford and in Callan Danesfort and Tullaraon. The final senior game sees Clara and James Stephens playing in Jenkinstown.

Meanwhile in the Michael Lyng Motors Intermediate Championship it is quarter-final weekend. On Saturday at 2pm Mullinavat take on Young Irelands at the Kells Road Venue and then at 4pm it is the turn of Lisdowney and Tullogher Rosbercon in Bennettsbridge. Then on Sunday Thomastown play Graigue Ballycallan in Palmerstown at 2pm while at 4pm St Patricks face Dunnamaggin in St Johns Park at 4pm.
