This Sunday was another great day for Kilkenny clubs with pride of place going to Mullinavat who are now Leinster Intermediate Champions following their narrow win over Kiltale of Meath in Navan on a 1-13 to 0-13 scoreline. Mullinavat can now look forward to a trip to Ruislip in London to take on Kilburn Gaels on the weekend of 6th/7th December in the All Ireland Quarter-Final.
On that same weekend Ballyhale Shamrocks will play Kilcormac Killoughey in the Leinster Final in Portlaoise. Ballyhale took their county final form into the Leinster Semi-Final in Parnell Park on Sunday when they had a comfortable 2-15 to 0-12 win over Dublin champions Kilmacud Crokes. In the Junior championship Bennettsbridge booked their final place with a comprehensive 1-19 to 0-11 win over Wexford champions Crossabeg Ballymurn in Enniscorthy. They now meet Offaly champions Shamrocks in Tullamore on Saturday 6th of December.
