Kilkenny GAA Youth Convention will take place on Monday next, February 23rd, in Springhill Court Hotel, Kilkenny. Delegates between the ages of 15-18 years old have been nominated by their clubs to attend and clubs who have yet to do so are still welcome to allow young members to attend on their behalf.
The agenda for the convention has been sent to all club secretaries and club Bórd na n-Óg secretaries. The major highlights include presentations by Lisa Clancy (GAA Communications Director) on the development of social media practice in the GAA and by Brían Ryan (Kilkenny GAA Games Manager), who will present on coaching and games developments in the county. Delegates will also be given the opportunity to have their say on GAA issues which they feel are important to highlight and improve upon in the future, as well as offering suggestions and ideas for future development of the GAA in Kilkenny and beyond.
If you are between the ages of 15-18 and are interested in taking part on behalf of your club, please contact your club secretary or committee or contact Conor Brennan (Kilkenny GAA Children’s Officer) on 086-8100167.
