J.J. Kavanagh & Sons Junior Hurling Award
(a) 5 bonus points will be awarded for team sportsmanship (No Red Card/ No Double Yellow Card or reported abuse of match officials), team presentation such as numbered as per programme & proper colour coordination.
(b) 5 bonus points each will be awarded for presentation of two home games. If teams have more than two home games points will be awarded for their last two games.(Must have programme & teams numbered as in programme, scoreboard and pitch in proper playing order & reporting of games in local papers, radio, facebook, twitter, websites etc.)
(c) 5 points will be awarded for a win, 3 points each for a draw and 2 points for the participation of losing side.
(d) The points will be awarded for the 5 League Championship & the teams’ first round knock-out game for Junior Hurling Teams in Section A. The points will be awarded for the final 5 League/Championship games & their first round knock-out game for the attached Junior Hurling Teams in Section B.
(e) There will be an additional bonus of 20 points for teams with maximum points for sportsmanship & presentation at the end of the competition.
