This evening we send our congratulations to both Bennettsbridge and Glenmore who both set up All Ireland Club Final appearances with impressive semi-final wins over the weekend.
Bennettsbridge had a very impressive 0-15 to 0-8 win in very difficult conditions over Wolfe tones of Shannon in Banagher on Saturday. They now meet Abbeyknockmoy of Galway in the Final in 2 weeks time in Croke Park.
Then on Sunday a huge crowd turned up at the WIT Complex at Carriganore to see Glenmore run out convincing 3-10 to 1-11 winners over Dungourney of Cork. Two Alan Murphy goals in the first half proved decisive here and with the Cork side reduced to 14 men, Glenmore comfortably held out against a strong wind in the second half. They meet Eoghan Rua of Derry in the curtain raiser in Croke Park in 2 weeks time.
Watch out for ticket details here in the coming days.
