Please find attached details of Saturday weeks, 10th June U-10 Go Games Festival Finals taking place in Nowlan Park and MW Hire Training Centre Dunmore.(An “open draw” took place to allocate pitches to clubs). We are using both venues to ensure last clubs are finished by 1.00pm so supporters heading to Wexford Park will have plenty of time to do so.
Can you please pass on to your U-10 Mentors and ask them to print a copy to bring with them on the day (or take a picture on their mobile) so they are aware of (1) which VENUE YOUR CLUB IS TO ATTEND (2) Players to come togged out (3) All players will have one Hurling game and Gaelic Football game (4) Timing – Vitla to be there 15 minutes before your game starts (5) pitch allocation. READ FULL DETAILS ATTACHED CAREFULLY.
There are 75 teams competing on the day so please read the details attached carefully to ensure all goes as smoothly as possible for 764 young players.

Please NOTE :
1. Each Club (where numbers allow) will have the opportunity to have ONE/TWO/THREE Teams Playing on ONE/TWO/THREE pitches side by side in Kilkenny GAA’s NOWLANPARK. Teams are to be of mixed ability – i.e Not an “A” and a “B” Team. {Please Remember the Players are U-10 NOT Adult Players}.
2. Each club will have One Hurling Game – 15 minutes a half. AND a 10 minute game of Gaelic Football after that. Teams will be 7/ 9/10/11/12 a –side (as designated by club numbers) If a club has subs, subs are to be rotated, so that a player is only taken off once during the game.
4. It is vital clubs arrive 15 Minutes (Not earlier) before start time and are TOGGED OUT. Jersies can be put on at the respective pitches.
5. Full Hurling rules apply plus (a)Player who is fouled takes the free, (b)Nearest player to the sideline, takes the sideline.(c.) Bad language is discouraged on the pitch and on the sidelines.
9. Each player will be presented with a momento of the occasion.
10. Transition year students will referee the games. They will do their best.
13. Remember for some players it will be their first time playing here in their club jersey, so let them enjoy the experience.
14. We all should try to make it a memorable occasion for players/coaches and parents.

15. On EXITING MW HIRE TRAINING CENTRE DUNMORE, we would ask you all to turn LEFT, head to the roundabout, and make your way home safely.
16. ALL DRIVERS take extra care on approach/leaving MW Hire Training Centre Dunmore, as your very young players/ supporters will be in and around the car parking areas.
