Coaching and Games- Two Updates
(1) Foundation Coaching Course Practical –
A reminder to Coaches who attended the Clara GAA and Kilmacow GAA Foundation course Theory sessions recently that the Practical content is taking place this Saturday, 3rd February at 10.00am in MW Hire TC Dunmore. Coaches to wear tracksuit and bring a hurl.
(2) Club Juvenile Information Evening –
For all club coaches in Hotel Kilkenny, NEXT Monday 5th February at 8.00pm in the Skyline Room.
Due to the many changes that have taken place over the past year, and to ensure we are all aware of the re-structuring, we are inviting each club to bring their:
(1) Juvenile Chairperson (2) Juvenile Secretary (3) Coaching Co-ordinator and one mentor from each new age grade level U-7,U-9,U-11,U-13,U-15 and U-17.
There will be a registration table for your club so we expect a strong attendance from all clubs (est. 9 per club – more welcome if available).
Also on the night we will launch the Kilkenny GAA Player Development App “The Hurler” , and outline all Coach Education Plans/Go Games Plans/Camps etc for your dedicated team of coaches and players, for the new coming season.
This is one of the most important gatherings of club coaches in Kilkenny, for a number of years, as we hope to ensure clarity across the board, for all involved in promoting Gaelic Games in your own community.
