St Kieran’s College claim 22nd All Ireland Colleges Title

St Kieran’s College claimed their 22nd College’s title on Saturday evening in Semple Stadium.   St Kieran’s had a strong first half performance taking a ten point lead in at the break.   Athenry however led a strong fightback in the final quarter forcing extra-time.   Following two ten minute periods of extra-time, St Kieran’s won out by nine points.   The win now moves the famed City nursery eight titles clear of their nearest rival, St. Flannan’s College, Ennis.
