“U15/U16 Regional Club Squad sessions”
Next week sees the start of the “Regional Club Squad” sessions.
We are asking each club in North Kilkenny to carefully select 1 player at 15 years of age and 1 player at 16 years of age to send to St Lachtains GAA, Freshford for a 6.30pm start on Wednesday 9th May.
Clubs in South Kilkenny are to send their selected players to Thomastown GAA on Thursday 10th May for a 6.30pm.
These sessions are provided for players who did not make the Hurling Development Squads.
As its a “Pilot” scheme, we plan to work closely with clubs, through ongoing consultation, to ensure these sessions are of benefit to all involved and will tweak this initiative as required, into the future.
Players are asked to wear their club togs and stockings.
Former Kilkenny goalkeeper and Kilkenny GDA will be leading the sessions.
