Shine & Charlie Delahunty fired over points in quick succession before Dempsey converted a free which was to be Thomastown’s last score of the half as ill discipline was costing them at this stage. Sean Maher & Cillian Hackett finished off the scoring with a point a piece to leave Dicksboro 1-8 to 0-4 up at the break. Dicksboro got a lighting start to the second half which really finished the game as a contest with Sean Maher pilfering a point before Vinny Roberts scored a fire cracker of a goal after a long delivery from Timmy Clifford.
