By Mary Morgan Sun 27th Jan

All roads lead to Ennis on Sunday when Kilkenny will take on the Clare in an eagerly awaited Allianz NHL round 2 fixture.   Kilkenny started their league campaign with a win over Cork, while Clare lost to Tipperary in their opener.   Both sides will be aiming to claim the valuable points from Sunday’s clash.

Sunday’s game has a throw-in time of 2pm, we advise all patrons to pre-purchase tickets at participating Centra and Supervalu stores, cost €15.   On the day at the ground tickets will be Adults €20, Students/OAP’s €15 (valid student ID required) and U-16 Free.

Please note online tickets sale are suspended three days prior to the game, Centra and Supervalu tickets are on sale until Saturday night.

Car Parking

Cusack Park is part of the town centre infrastructure in Ennis and as such is not readily accessible for cars or buses on match days.  With a large crowd anticipated for next Sunday’s game, there will be serious parking restrictions in the vicinity of the stadium. The Lions Club of Ennis have put plans in place to accommodate up to 500 vehicles in the Clare Marts site (EIRCODE  V95 APF2) on the Quin Road, just past Ennis Railway Station.

This hard surface Car Park will be open from 10.30am to 5pm and will be signposted on the approaches to Ennis Town Centre. The Mart is just over a 10 minute walk to Cusack Park. In addition easy access to the M18 Motorway is available after the game to avoid the traffic congestion exiting Ennis.

The M7/M18 Motorway route via the Limerick Tunnel makes a comfortable 75 minutes drive from the Borris-in-Ossory Junction to Ennis.

Cars park for €5, Mini Buses for €10 and Coaches for €20, with all proceeds going to local charities.
