Kilkenny’s Poc Fada returns to Gowran Park Race Course on Thursday 27th June with the winners going on to represent the county in the Leinster Final in July. In 2018 over 50 competitors participated in the Adult and Under 16 competitions over a 1 kilometre course down the finishing straight.
The Under 16’s start the event at 6pm and this is followed on by the adult competition starting at 7.30. Each competitor is asked to wear their club colours and very importantly to bring another person to mark his score. Supporters are very welcome on the night but are asked to take their place in the grand-stand or on the viewing area on the top floor. Refreshments will be provided for all participants.
Clubs are asked to return entries to Developmentofficer.kilkenny@gaa.ie before Friday 21st June. Entries can also be sent by text to 085-1389397.
