As part of O’Loughlin Gaels GAA 50th Anniversary Celebrations there will be a Banquet titled “An Evening with The Gaels” on Saturday Aug 3rd at O’Loughlin Gaels GAA Club Complex… Tickets on sale from the club bar now. Hosted by Michael Duignan and Tomás Mulcahy, it looks at how the club has evolved into a great GAA club since it’s foundation fifty years ago. Meet the founders, the players and characters that have made O’Loughlin Gaels GAA an integral part of the community ..remember the great days and great people….listen to the stories and look forward to the future. Admission €50 for 4 course meal + wine and show. A night to remember .
Over a full weekend schedule of events celebrations start on Friday evening Aug 2nd with a social BBQ at Johnswell, then on Saturday morning from 11am O’Loughlin Gaels Handball invite all to a Adult Handball Tournament. This will be followed by an invitational Minor 7s Hurling Tournament at 2pm for the Johnny Sheridan Cun. ON Sunday August the 4th their will be Juvenile Activities and Fun Games at 2pm followed by a Senior Hurling Challenge between O’Loughlin Gaels GAA and Thurles Sarsfieds ..throw in at 3pm.
