A busy few days culminated on Sunday with the JJ Kavanagh & Sons Intermediate and Senior Football finals in Nowlan Park with Mooncoin claiming the Intermediate title after running out 2-8 to 0-5 winners over Erins Own, while Mullinavat completed three in a row in the Senior with a 1-13 to 0-10 win aganst Railyard.
On Friday St Lachtains were one point winners over Barrow Rangers in the JJ Kavanagh & Sons Junior B Hurling League Final. Meanwhile Bennettsbridge were one point winners over Danesfort in the Iverk Produce Junior C league final and James Stephens claimed the Junior D league title with a 4-14 to 2-14 victory over Graignamanagh. Friday also saw Clara run out 1-19 to 0-15 winners over Dicksboro in the St Canice’s Credit Union Division 1 final.
