The Kilkenny GAA community was numbed with sadness on Tuesday on hearing the news that Br Damien Brennan had passed away. Br Damien has long been associated with Kilkenny GAA and Callan in particular. As Principal of Coláiste Éamann Ris, Callan and a former Kilkenny Minor Hurling Manager Br Damien has long established and deep roots in the Kilkenny Community. Br Damien reached out and helped so many in his time with us, something that was very evident from the large number of callers over the past few weeks.
Kilkenny GAA would like to extend its sympathies to Br Damien’s family, sisters Bridie, Margaret, Catherine and Bernie, brothers Liam and Seán and his extended family and the CBS Callan community. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
