Kilfane Handball Club

Kilfane Handball Club, situated in the parish of Tullaherin near Thomastown in County Kilkenny was established in 1918. Serving the surrounding towns and villages and testament to the club founders the game of handball has thrived and survived during the century boasting County, Provincial, All-Ireland and World Champions.

In recent years the committee decided to take on the construction of a new 40×20 court. The new court will complement the existing 60×30 court to become a unique facility providing year round handball in County Kilkenny with a future add on wall ball court. This state of the art handball facility will serve GAA Handball proudly in the south east from the coming season and ensure the future of handball in Kilfane.

Funded by Kilkenny Leader Partnership, Kilkenny County Council and Sports Capital Programme, the Kilfane Handball Club Development Draw will help complete this exciting build. Launched last weekend the Development Draw has already had a very positive response from the handball community and beyond.
