Following all the weekend action, three Kilkenny Clubs claimed Leinster honours with Shamrocks seeing off St Mullins of Carlow on Sunday in the senior club final on a scoreline of 1-21 to 0-15. On Saturday Tullaroan overcame Seir Kieran in UPMC Nowlan Park running out 2-25 to 2-13 winners while Conahy Shamrocks following their trip to Wexford saw off Ballygarret-Realt na Mara 3-12 to 4-13. All three clubs now go forward to the All-Ireland series semi-finals whcih are due to be played on the weekend of January 4th and 5th. For match reports click here (Kilkenny People)
Also this weekens St Kieran’s College claimed the All-Ireland Junior title overcoming Presentation Athenry on Saturday. The game ended 1-19 to 1-18 following extra-time. In the JJ Kavanagh and Sons U-21 S/F O’Loughlin Gaels secured the first spot in this years decider following a 2-24 to 0-8 victory over Dicksboro.
